IH Engineers provided construction inspection for this major interchange improvement project which included roadway, ramp and bridge demolition, new bridge construction, earthwork, new ramps, milling, paving, sheeting, reinforced concrete foundations, new steel and concrete bridge, complex staging and traffic control, major utility and drainage work, night work, etc. This project replaced the Route 1&9 Bridge over Route 35, reconfigured the Interchange, widened Route 1&9 through the Interchange from 4 to 6 lanes, and widened Route 35.
